    Matthew Malin + Andrew Goetz

    Founders, Malin + Goetz Matthew Malin
    Matthew started his career in the Executive Training Program at Saks Fifth Avenue following university in 1991. After two years there, Matthew worked for three years as a cosmetic buyer at the privately owned Barneys New York. For the next five years, Matthew oversaw global distribution and sales development for the family operated Kiehl’s. After Kiehl’ssale to L’Oréal, Matthew accepted a position with Prada to develop and manage the Helmut Lang ParfumsDivision and licensing agreement with P&G. Two years later, Matthew and Andrew began developing a business plan for (MALIN+GOETZ).
     
    Andrew Goetz
    For ten years preceding the launch of (MALIN+GOETZ), Andrew worked as Marketing Director for family owned Vitra, a Swiss-based design manufacturer. Andrew’s responsibilities included finding and cultivating the architects and industrial designers whose careers Vitrais known to begin. Both the New York flagship (MALIN+GOETZ)architect and graphic team behind our packaging were organic extensions of previous collaborations and relationships. In addition to using his creative expertise for (MALIN+GOETZ), Andrew has also established himself as house chef for a monthly dinner party that March 2006 Food&Wine Magazine call one of Manhattan’s “best.”

    Nancy Gill

    Head of Human Resources, Investment Bank Nancy Gill is the head of Human Resources for the Investment Bank.

    Prior to rejoining J.P. Morgan, Nancy spent seven years at the National Football League, where she was the senior vice president of Human Resources responsible for leading and establishing its strategic HR functions. Nancy previously worked at J.P. Morgan from 1994-2002 as the HR generalist for Global Markets and senior HR generalist for the Private Bank. Prior to that role, she was head of Human Resources for Global Equities at Lehman Brothers.

    Nancy has a B.A. in Fine Arts and Communications from Kean University. She has an M.B.A., with a concentration in management, from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

    Nancy lives in New Jersey with her husband and two daughters.

    Erika Karp

    Managing Director and Head of Global Sector Research, UBS Investment Bank



    Erika Karp serves as Chair of the UBS Global Investment Review Committee managing the UBS Global Sector Research effort encompassing Analysts and Strategists around the world. She was appointed to the UBS Investment Bank Board in 2007 and serves on the UBS Securities Research Executive Committee, the Americas Equity Business Forum, and the Values-Based/Sustainable Investment Working Group reporting to the UBS Group Executive Board. Formerly as the Global Head of Research Product Management, Erika developed the UBS family of global equity research products including the trademarked UBS "Q-Series" initiative which she continues to manage. Other key Research products include the "UBS Global I/O", the "UBS Global Bear", and the "UBS Global Portfolio Manager's Spotlight" which synthesizes top UBS investment themes and ideas. Erika's work has been featured in Investment Dealer's Digest, Euromoney, BloombergBusinessweek, Forbes, and Wharton Magazine to which she is a regular contributor. For 2011, Erika was named among the nation's "Top 50 Women in Wealth" by AdvisorOne. Additionally, Erika serves on the Board of the world's largest GLBT Synagogue. She holds an MBA in Finance from Columbia University and a BSE from the Wharton School.

    Karen Sumberg

    Senior Vice President, Director of Projects and Communications, Center for Work-Life Policy, Karen Sumberg is senior vice president, director of projects and communications at the Center for Work-Life Policy and a director with the CWLP's advisory services practice Sylvia Ann Hewlett Associates. She leads research projects for the CWLP including "The Sponsor Effect," "Bookend Generations: Leveraging Talent and Finding Common Ground," and "Sin Fronteras: Celebrating and Capitalizing on the Strengths of Latina Executives." She is coauthor of Harvard Business Review article "How Gen Y&Boomers Will Reshape Your Agenda," as well as the Harvard Business Review Research Reports The Athena Factor: Reversing the Brain Drain in Science, Engineering, and Technology and The Sponsor Effect, CWLP reports The Under-Leveraged Talent Pool: Women Technologists on Wall Street and Off-Ramps and On-Ramps Revisited and a Harvard Business online blog. Prior to joining CWLP, Sumberg worked in Japan and Australia and has experience in the publishing industry with a focus on marketing and communications. Sumberg received her BA from the University of Maryland and her MBA from Fordham University.
